We have a vision for our Saskatchewan-owned company that includes a thriving, local-food business. Our vision also includes a greater level of understanding between consumers and producers about agriculture and sustainable production.

THE TEAM
Kevin Blair (owner) lives at Lanigan, Saskatchewan with his wife, Noreen, and their three sons. Co-owner and Chief Executive Officer of Blair’s Fertilizer Ltd., Kevin is a board member of the Grow Community of Independents and the Canadian Angus Association. In addition to Blair’s Fertilizer Ltd., Kevin and his brother Darren own Blairs.Ag Cattle Company, an Angus genetics seedstock operation.
Darren Blair (owner) and his wife Deb live at Drake, Saskatchewan with their two children. Darren is co-owner and Chief Operations Officer of Blair’s Fertilizer Ltd., a grain farmer and a partner with Kevin in Blairs.Ag Cattle Company. Prior to Blair’s, Darren was employed with Pound-Maker AgVentures and currently sits on their board of directors. Darren is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, College of Agriculture.
April Nichol (owner) lives and farms near Qu’Appelle with her husband Chad and their children Natalie and Alex. With a degree in crop science from the College of Agriculture, U. of S., April is employed by Blair’s as a Crop Development Specialist at their McLean location. April chairs the Minister of Agriculture’s Youth Advisory Committee, a group of young farmers dedicated to initiatives to encourage and sustain youth in the business of agriculture.
Candace Ippolito (owner) was raised on a cattle operation near Kisbey, Saskatchewan and remains active in the livestock industry. An animal science graduate from the University of Agriculture, U. of S. Candace is the Animal Nutrition Lead for Blair’s in Saskatchewan. Candace is a committee member of Canadian Western Agribition, and an active 4-H alumnus.
Ken Neuman (store manager) was raised on an Alberta farm and spent 25 years in the hospitality industry. Ken’s experience as production manager for Jerry’s Artisan Ice Cream put him in contact with many Saskatchewan producers and their passion and enthusiasm prompted him to become more involved in local food production. Ken and his wife and their two children live in Saskatoon, where Ken manages the SaskMade Marketplace store.
