From the "fields" of SaskMade -

Fresh vegetables from the garden has to be one of the tastiest things about summer-especially after a long, cold Saskatchewan winter. We are happy to say that SaskMade has secured some great suppliers for all things fresh, which we hope to be able to maintain all year round.

Potatoes, carrots, onions, beets and more are coming in from Spring Creek Garden. Grandora Gardens is supplying us with their famous cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers. Floating Gardens maintains its title as our fresh herbs, greens and microgreens supplier for another crazy year.

And it being summer and all, we can't forget about the beautiful fruit that we can find growing all around Saskatchewan. Saskmade will continue to bring in as much fresh, local fruit as it's picking season allows. Raspberries, black raspberries, Saskatoon berries, sour cherries and black currants are just a few we have been carrying lately.

Shish-ka BBQ


  • 2-3 Blair's Premium Angus Beef-Minute Steaks
  • 1/3 cup Three Farmers Roasted Garlic & Chili Oil
  • 2 tbs M&M Garlic Zesty Fresh Minced Garlic
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Pure Honey
  • 1/2 tsp JBS Blackened Sask Steak Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Gravelbourg French Mustard


Mix all the ingredients together.

Marinate your steak for at least an hour and up to six hours in the refrigerator. Don't forget to add your favourite veggies for colour and added flavour.

Grill kabobs directly over heat source for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning 1/4 rotation every 2 to 3 minutes, or until the meat is cooked throughout.
