Prairie Girls Kitchen Linens

Prairie Girls' Kitchen Linens owner Shirley Mould was born in Kingston, Ontario in 1944, and moved to Regina with her family in 1946. She has lived in Saskatchewan ever since. In 1962 she married Jim, and together they raised three children while building a successful vehicle repair business in Regina. She's now a proud grandmother of three, and is using her love of Saskatchewan and her previous business experience to create meaningful and useful products that reflect the province she loves.

Shirley and her daughter had the idea for a "word cloud" design for PG's first product, a quality Canadian-made tea towel. PG contracted a local Saskatchewan graphic designer who made the idea a beautiful reality. Shirley canvassed family and friends, and gathered descriptions of an active, vibrant Saskatchewan that resonated with her for the design.

Having retired, Shirley is once again becoming an entrepreneur in the true prairie spirit. Spending almost all her life in Saskatchewan, the words on her tea towel reflect her view of our province. She has many more ideas and hopes to continue the growth of her business with new products - watch for them!
