"It's spring! The nettles are out!", my Gran'ma used to say. And off we went to pick those stinging Stinging Nettles. These are wonderful childhood memories. We would eat some nettles steamed and we would dry a portion for tea to be made later in the year. Stinging nettle is a tonic, known to stimulate liver and blood. It strengthens the pancreas, gallbladder, and the digestive system. Nettle tisane is a delicious infusion, so lovingly herbaceous, soothing allergic reactions. It is perfect for making iced tisane, especially in combination with wild rhubarb.

Stinging nettle is rich in Vitamins A, C, and E, iron, and calcium. It is a powerful traditional remedy for arthritis and rheumatism.

We wild-harvest stinging nettle in the spring in the wilderness of northern Saskatchewan.

The wild tisanes, harvested from Love, SK, are gently dried with no additives or preservatives. Each one has it's own natural health benefit. Some varities are seasonal, limited quantities available.
