Susan Robertson Pottery - Pickle Dish
Not surprisingly, Susan Robertson pottery was established by Susan Robertson. While it started as a hobby, her love of clay soon caused her to quit her job and pursue pottery full time. To meet the ever- expanding demand for her work, the studio was moved to a new, larger location in the fall of 2002. This was done with the help of her husband and partner Ian.
The studio is in Outlook, Saskatchewan, 90 kilometers southwest of Saskatoon. Located in the Prairies, it is surrounded by fields of golden wheat in the fall and endless blue skies.
We make a wide range of functional stoneware pottery and decorative tiles which is mainly hand built and hand painted. Susan also makes "one of a kind" decorative and sculptural pieces.
Unique designs, bright colors and impeccable craftsmanship are the cornerstones of Susan's pottery. Susan's sense of humor is visible in her work and she delights in the smiles that her pottery brings to her visitors' faces.
The distinctive work of Susan Robertson pottery can be found in over 200 stores across Canada and the United States
