The University of Saskatchewan Cherries are very special. Not only were they bred to survive prairie winters but they have high sugar content and great flavor. 

Royalties from these cherries as well as profits from this cookbook all go back to the University of Saskatchewan Fruit Program to be used for undergraduate and graduate studies working to develop better fruit crops!
